How to make a Transparent Background in GIMP





Intro:

Hi Everyone, In this video I am gonna show you how to make a Transparent Background in Gimp. Before that you need to know about how to remove background using
1. Path Tool
2. Quick Mask
3. Free Selection Tool
Check out those videos we have already posted on our Channel.

Steps:

In this video I used a Image that has Background in Complete Yellow (One Colour). So instead using any other tool we can fuzzy select tool to select the Background.

1. Select Background
2. Add Alpha Channel
3. Remove Background by pressing Del on your Keyboard. Which makes background Transparent because of the Added Alpha Channel
4. Export it with the .png Extension

Note:

Gimp is the Perfect Alternative for Photoshop. So you apply this method in Photoshop as well
