GIMP Tutorial Distorted HOLOGRAM Effect

Hi Everyone, In this video I'm gonna show you how to create a hologram effect using the open source software called GIMP

Note:
You can also try this same method in Photoshop as well.

Steps:
1. Open an Image
2. Duplicate it
3. Colorize with any one color
4. Change the Mode to Lighten Only
5. Move the Layer to the left a little bit
6. Duplicate the Original Image Again
7. Colorize with another Color and mode to Lighten Only
8. Move this layer to the Right a little bit
9. Duplicate the original image again
10. Move it to the top in the layers dialog
11. Change mode to Overlay and opacity to 50%
12. Create a new layer and fill it with the stripes pattern
13. Change the Mode to Overlay
14. Create a New Layer From Visible
15. Change its Saturation to 100 in Hue & Saturation

That's it.
