How to make a Wood Burning Portrait using GIMP

Hi Everyone, In this video I'm gonna show you how to create wood burning effect using the Open Source Photo Manipulation Software called GIMP

Note:
GIMP is the alternative for Photoshop. Hence you can try this same method in Photoshop as well

Steps:
1. Upload your Image to the Software
2. Desaturate
3. Threshold
4. Erase unwanted regions
5. Copy the subject
6. Download the Wood Image
7. Paste the Subject in the Wood
8. Duplicate that Layer
9. Give Gaussian Blur to the Subject layer and change the mode to Overlay
10. Change the Duplicated Layer mode to Overlay
11. Duplicate it again and reduce its opacity to 20-25
