GIMP Tutorial : Convert Video into GIF with MPEG Streamclip

Hi Everyone, In this Video I'm gonna show you How to Convert a Video into GIF using the Open Source Image Editing software called GIMP. We also use another software called MPEG Streamclip.

Softwares need to be Installed:
1. GIMP

2. MPEG Streamclip

3. Quick Time Alternative 1.81

Steps:
1. First Install Quick Time Alternative
2. Open MPEG Streamclip.exe (It will not open if you not installed Quick Time Alt)
3. Open a Video in MPEG Streamclip that you need to convert into GIF
4. Select Start and End Point of the Video
5. Go to File - Export as Other Formats
6. Select Image Sequence
7. In Options Choose any Image Format and give any frames per second (I'm given 12)
8. Save the Image Sequence
9. Open GIMP
10. Open all the Images as Layers
11. Export it as GIF
12. Give Suitable Milliseconds for the frames per second that we given in MPEG Streamclip (I'm given 12 so (1/12)*1000= 83.3 milliseconds)

That's it. You've converted your Video into GIF
